The Flexel ECOMAX-DUO is a two-layer MDF overlay laid on top of carbon underfloor heating film to give a firm, flat base for carpet, linoleum and luxury vinyl. It floats over the film without screws or screed, so the floor covering can go down as soon as the boards are in place.
Each pack covers 2.88 m² and adds only 7 mm to the floor height.

Key features
- Two MDF layers: a 3 mm base board and a 4 mm top board, each with contact adhesive already applied
- Low total build height of 7 mm

Suitable floor coverings
Carpet, linoleum and luxury vinyl, along with most other finishes that need a smooth, solid base to be fixed to.
Installation
- Complete and test the heating film installation first.
- Lay the 3 mm base boards over the heated floor area.
- Place the 4 mm top boards over them so the adhesive layers bond the two boards together.
- Fit your floor covering directly onto the top boards.
