Brand: Flexel | Type: Thermostat
Needs at least one V23 receiver wired in next to the heater. Phone app possible by adding the V24 WiFi control panel.
The V22 is a battery-powered, wireless room thermostat that gives you full time and temperature control of electric heating without running a cable back to the heater. It is a neat choice for refurbishments and finished rooms where chasing walls for new wiring would be disruptive.
It works with the V23 wireless receiver, which is wired in next to the heater, and can run underfloor heating, infrared panels, convectors or ceiling heating.
Full features, controls, installation notes and specifications are below.
Key features
- Seven-day programming with up to six time and temperature periods each day
- Nine factory preset programmes so the heating can be running straight away
- Auto, Manual, Holiday and Off (frost protection) modes
- Manual override with a timer, handy for a temporary boost or setback
- A heat symbol shows on the display whenever the thermostat is calling for heat
- Runs on two AAA batteries (supplied), which last around two years
- Can sit on a wall or on a table stand
Controls and compatibility
- Needs at least one V23 wireless receiver/switching unit (sold separately) wired to the heating
- One V22 can drive up to four V23 receivers (one master and three slaves), useful for larger rooms or zones with several heaters
- Suitable for electric underfloor heating, infrared heating panels, convector heaters and ceiling heating
- For whole-home control, the V22 also links with our Flexel Central Touch WiFi Control Panel (V24 WiFi)
Installation
- No wiring is needed at the thermostat itself, which saves on cabling and redecoration
- Radio range is up to 30 m between the V22 and its receiver
- The V23 receiver must be connected by a qualified electrician; our official installation partner, Standard Electrical Services, can fit the complete system
