Welcome to Infrared Heating UK. "We", "us" and "our" refer to Infrared Heating UK Ltd, which operates this website and store, including all related information, content, tools, products and services (the "Services").
Our online store runs on the Shopify platform, but all sales are made directly between you and Infrared Heating UK Ltd.
These Terms of Service, together with our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, describe your rights and responsibilities when using our Services. By using our website or buying from us, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. Access and account
By using our Services you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or otherwise able to enter into a binding contract.
Please give accurate, current and complete information when you order or create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account details confidential.
2. Our products
We make every effort to describe and show our products accurately, but colours and appearance can vary between screens.
Product descriptions, specifications and prices may change. We may discontinue products or limit the quantities available.
Infrared Heating UK supplies heating products and designs heating systems. We do not carry out installation; installation is the responsibility of the customer and their installer.
3. Orders
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy from us. Your order is accepted when we confirm it and payment has been received in full.
We may decline or cancel an order. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will contact you and refund any payment.
Our products may be bought for domestic, trade or commercial use. You are responsible for making sure products are suitable for your intended use; we are happy to advise.
4. Prices and payment
Prices may change without notice. You pay the price shown at the time you place your order. Prices on the website may differ from prices quoted through other channels.
Goods are dispatched only once payment has been received in full.
5. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather or other events outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
6. Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. Products cut to the length or size you order are made to your specification and cannot be returned unless faulty.
7. Installation
Many of our products are electrical heating components. They must be installed in line with BS 7671 (the IET Wiring Regulations), the manufacturer's instructions and building regulations. Where required, the electrical connection must be made and certified by a qualified electrician.
We are not responsible for damage, malfunction or safety issues caused by incorrect installation, incorrect floor build-up, incorrect wiring, misuse or modification.
8. Warranty
Products carry the manufacturer's warranty stated on each product page, subject to the manufacturer's terms. Warranty claims may require proof of correct installation. Products damaged during installation or modified after delivery are not covered. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Heating performance
Heating output, running cost and efficiency figures are general guidance. Actual performance depends on the installation, insulation, room construction, thermostat settings and conditions, so we cannot guarantee a specific result.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, product descriptions, logos and design, belongs to Infrared Heating UK Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse it without our written permission.
11. Third-party links and tools
Our website may link to tools or websites run by third parties. These are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.
12. Errors
There may occasionally be errors in descriptions, prices or availability on our website. We may correct errors at any time. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you.
13. Prohibited uses
You may use our Services only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious software or try to gain unauthorised access.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our Services or products. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
15. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms and our policies form the entire agreement between you and us about the use of our Services. We may update these Terms at any time; the version on our website applies.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
