Flexel 1.5 mm² cold tail leads carry power from the thermostat circuit to carbon underfloor heating film, and are also used to link film strips to each other. Choose blue or brown, in 10 m lengths or 100 m drums.

Key features

How much do I need?
As a guide, one 10 m length of each colour is usually enough for a room of about 15 m². Larger or awkwardly shaped rooms may need more. Call us on 01342 645021 or contact us if you would like us to check.
Installation
- Connect the cold tails to the film busbars using connection crimps and a ratchet crimping tool.
- Insulate each joint with bitumen insulation tape.
- Run the leads back to the thermostat or connection point.
The connection to the mains supply must be made by a qualified electrician. Our official installation partner Standard Electrical Services can carry out the full installation.
