My name is Bert and I am the owner of Infrared Heating UK. Many years ago I ran a home improvements business from an office in Edinburgh. The staff area was heated by convection heating, and one end of the room was always too hot while the other was always too cold. A friend recommended infrared heating panels. We put them in and everyone was finally comfortably warm at work. At home, our twins barely slept because their room never got warm. I fitted an infrared panel and they slept through the night for the first time in about two years.
That was me hooked. I researched everything I could about infrared heating, including carbon underfloor heating film, and learned how efficient and easy to install it is, saving people money and cutting carbon emissions.
I sold my home improvements business, retrained as an electrician and set up Infrared Heating UK to supply infrared heating. Today we design heating systems and supply the products; we do not install them ourselves. If you need an installer, our official installation partner, Standard Electrical Services, can install the panels and underfloor heating for you. We also supply flooring that is suitable for underfloor heating.
