Our steel connection crimps join the cold tail leads to the copper busbars of carbon underfloor heating film. Pressed on with a ratchet crimping tool, each one makes a firm and lasting electrical joint where the cable meets the film.
Sold in packs of 10, with quantities up to 50 available.

How many do I need?
Each film strip connection uses two crimps, one on each busbar. For example, a room laid with 6 strips of film needs 12 crimps.
Installation
- Fit a crimp onto each busbar at the connection end of the film strip.
- Insert the stripped end of the cold tail into the crimp and close it with the ratchet crimping tool.
- Insulate every crimp on both sides of the film with bitumen insulation tape.
- Seal the busbar ends at the other end of each strip with termination discs.
