The Herschel Colorado is a slim 2.5kW infrared heater in black powder-coated aluminium, made for anyone who wants strong, dependable warmth without a bulky heater on show. Its IP55 rating means it can be fixed to an exposed wall and left out in the rain, making it a strong choice for home patios, pub gardens, restaurant terraces and colder indoor venues.
The carbon lamp gives off a warm orange light rather than the dazzling glare of many halogen heaters, and it needs no routine maintenance.

Controls
Herschel currently supplies the Colorado 2500 in its remote control version. The remote offers four power settings (25%, 50%, 75% and 100%) and a timer that runs for up to 24 hours in one-hour steps, so you can keep people comfortable as the temperature changes through the evening. The heater can also be wired to an external controller such as a thermostat; ask us for the options.
Installation
The Colorado is designed for wall or ceiling mounting and comes with a 2m lead and fitted plug. For a hard-wired installation or connection to external controls, our official installation partner Standard Electrical Services can carry out the work. Moving air can reduce the area of useful heat by a third to a half. On exposed sites, mount the heater as low as is practical and allow for additional units.
