Havana 800W
Price includes VAT Shipping calculated at checkout.
The Herschel Havana is a compact 800W infrared heater for taking the chill off when you only need a little extra warmth. It is light enough to carry by its handle, so you can slide it under the garden table to warm cold legs, set it beside a chair in the conservatory, or take it away on a camping or caravan trip where there is a mains hook-up.
It works best alongside wall-mounted or overhead heaters rather than as the only heat source for a larger area. Ideal Home named the Havana its Best Portable Patio Heater in 2021 and included it again in its 2022 patio heater guide.
Full features, controls, installation notes and specifications are below.
Key features
- 800W output keeps running costs very low
- Carbon fibre middlewave lamp rated for up to 10,000 hours
- Pleasant orange glow and warmth within 5 to 10 seconds
- Silent, with no smell when running
- Cuts out automatically if it is not standing upright
- Carry handle and lightweight build
- Recycled material used in the underside of the base
Controls
Operation could not be simpler: plug in and switch on. The Havana has a single power setting, with no remote or timer.
Installation
No installation is needed. Place it on a level surface close to the people you want to warm and plug it into a socket using the 2m lead. Infrared heat is felt most strongly up close and a breeze will reduce its reach, so keep it near your seating.
