The Herschel Hawaii is a round 2kW infrared heater that hangs from a canopy, pergola roof or ceiling and spreads warmth in every direction to the people below. It suits covered patios at home just as well as commercial terraces, and it can also be used indoors in spaces such as garden rooms, gazebos, halls and restaurants.
The Telegraph placed the Hawaii at the top of its round-up of garden patio heaters.

Controls
The supplied remote switches the heater on and off; it runs at a single power level. For bars, restaurants and other commercial sites, the remote can be bypassed so the Hawaii is operated from your own separate control system.
Installation
The Hawaii needs a sturdy overhead structure to hang from, and is suspended on the chains provided. It comes with a 2m lead and fitted plug for use with a nearby socket. If you would prefer a tidy hard-wired installation or a link to external controls, our official installation partner Standard Electrical Services can fit it for you.
It is suitable for outdoor use all year round. Bear in mind that wind and moving air can cut the heated area by a third to a half, so exposed spots may need more heaters.
