160 W/m² heating mat for tiled floors
A slim electric cable mat that sits under tiles, stone and marble. It gives 160 W of heat per square metre, suitable for bathrooms, en-suites, kitchens and other tiled rooms, as the main heat source or for a warm floor underfoot.
Key features
- Fully earth-shielded heating cable with one 2.5 m cold tail to connect
- Slim 4 mm cable and mat keep the floor build-up low
- Mats are 0.5 m wide and roll out across the floor, held in place with fixing tapes
- IPX7 rated, suitable for bathrooms, en-suites and wet rooms
- For tiles, porcelain, stone and marble
Choosing the size
- Choose the mat size closest to the free floor area to be heated, leaving out areas under fitted units, baths and shower trays

Controls
- Every mat needs a floor-sensing thermostat. We recommend our Programmable Touch Screen Thermostat, which comes with a floor probe
- For control from your phone, the WiFi Touch Screen Thermostat is also suitable

Installation
- Roll the mat out on a clean subfloor; to turn at the edges of the room, cut the mesh only, never the heating cable
- Tile, stone or marble can be laid directly over the mat using a flexible tile adhesive
- Compliant with EN 60335-2-96 and the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671, 18th Edition)
- Must be connected and tested by a qualified electrician; our official installation partner, Standard Electrical Services, can fit the mat and thermostat for you
